Although she wasn't able to play during the 2010 Spring I season, Stephanie is determined to redebut with the team for its 2010 Spring II campaign. While others are taking some time off from kickball, or on loan to other teams, Stephanie has found herself in a situation where trying to stay in "kickball shape" has its unique opportunities in New Orleans.
As part of the St. Patrick's Day parade tradition, cabbage, carrots, etc. are thrown from the floats. Luckily Stephanie was aware of this tradition. "All of a sudden this woman chunked a cabbage at me! I caught it and it reminded me of a kickball."
Former player Sara, who was visiting Stephanie in New Orleans, was said to be on the floor laughing after the successful cabbage catch.
